At ETC, the principal aim is the oral communication with a fully communicative approach to the teaching of Portuguese. Applying modern and exclusive techniques, the student will speak Portuguese in the very beginning of the course. Language is never presented out of context and grammar, phonology, lexis and all other students’ linguistic and communicative skills.

ETC is located in one of the most important areas of the city, called "PRAIA DO CANTO", 10min from the airport and served by several bus lines. We are very close to the malls, gardens, hotels, beaches and other options of leisure.

ETC has agreements with hotels. You can choose one of them (several categories) or, if you prefer, you can stay with a Brazilian family.

Our aim is to give students the opportunity of being in contact with the Brazilian culture. So, as a student, you will be involved in different programmes, such as: theater, movies, parties, museums, historical places, etc.

Through an anticipated request, we can take students to visit companies, such as: CST, CVRD, ARACRUZ CELULOSE, UFES, ports, marble companies, coffee exporters, etc.
